100% Renewable Electricity

We are excited to share with you all, that between April 2017 and March 2018, we sourced 100% renewable electricity.

This means we all prevented 1,019,426 tonnes of CO2 from going into the atmosphere which means the same as planting 509 million trees!

How do we know?

To calculate the amount of CO2 saved, the energy company added up all the electricity used by our customers and compared the emission savings to the average UK emissions for the same amount of energy. Then they used a report from the Forestry Commission in which one tree was estimated to lock in about 2kg of carbon dioxide per year.
