Gas safety checks

We have a legal obligation to carry out gas safety and servicing contracts each year

It is important that all appliances are serviced and tenants must allow us access to undertake this work. We want to ensure your safety, so please contact us if you cannot make the appointment agreed.

Can you smell gas?

Act immediately

If you smell gas, turn off the gas supply immediately; open a door or window then call the gas emergency service on 0800 111 999 (TRANSCO).

For any other gas related emergencies i.e. total heating or hot water failure (when Unity’s office is closed the next day), you can also call IDM on 01757 244 510.
