Know yourself, sell yourself programme helping people back into work

Unity is working in partnership with Leeds Federated Housing and Connect Housing to run the workshops.

Or could you just do with a confidence boost to help you through the January blues?

The ‘Know yourself, sell yourself’ workshop could be just the thing you’re looking for!

Unity is working in partnership with Leeds Federated Housing and Connect Housing to run the workshops. Since the programme began in August 2011, 133 people have taken part, of which 17 have gone on to find employment, 12 have taken up further training or education and six have successfully set up their own business.

The workshops incorporate a range of approaches to help prepare you for work. They could help you:

• Identify your skills and make the most of them
• Boost your confidence for interviews and job applications
• Help you with practical skills such as CV writing and application forms
• Find jobs through Universal Jobmatch.

The workshops take place at Leeds Federated Housing, Arthington House, 30 Westfield Road, Leeds, LS3 1DE.
