Christmas Appeals

This Christmas we are going to be hosting two Christmas collections at our office. We will be collecting donations for Leeds North and West Foodbank and Radio Aire’s Mission Christmas toy appeal, where we are a registered collection centre.

Leeds North and West Foodbank

In the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas, the foodbank will provide over 300 Christmas food parcels for local individuals and families in crisis.

Their top 10 required items are:

• Long life milk
• Long life fruit juice
• Tinned vegetables
• Tinned meat
• Tinned fish
• Tinned tomatoes
• Pasta sauces
• Cereal
• Tinned fruit
• Sponge puddings

We have a collection box in the reception area of our main office. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Radio Aire’s Mission Christmas

Radio Aire already have 10,932 local disadvantaged children needing a gift. Last year they helped 23,396 children and this year they expect to receive a record breaking number of applications.

How Can You Take Part?
Radio Aire need as many people as possible to take part, to make this the best year yet for disadvantaged families in our region. To help you simply need to:

• Buy one extra gift, suitable for a child or young person aged 0-18 years.
• Drop your gift off at one of the many drop off point across West Leeds before the 17th December. You can find details of the collection points here. Unity Housing Association is a collection point.
• Please be aware, gifts must be new and should not be wrapped.
