Unity wants to show you all that the Internet has to offer, which is why we are running FREE workshops to help you get online.

From October, you may have to start claiming benefits online, and you may find this course useful if you think you could be affected. If you are searching for work, you may find the Internet a useful tool both searching for vacancies and applying for jobs online.

Do you qualify for a discount computer?

If you are claiming certain benefits, you may qualify for a no-nonsense, refurbished computer at a discount. This could mean a desktop computer from as little as £99 or a laptop computer from £149. To be eligible you must be claiming at least one of the following benefits:

• Housing Benefit
• Income Support
• Jobseeker’s Allowance
• Pension Credit
• Disability Living Allowance
• Attendance Allowance or Constant Attendance Allowance
• Carer’s Allowance
• Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance
• Disability element of Working Tax Credit
