Health is for life: Unity raises £500 for Movember

Members of Unity staff, led by new Financial Inclusion Officer Clive Greenwood, have grown moustaches throughout the duration of November and as a result have raised £500 for the charity event.

Movember is an annual moustache-growing campaign which aims to raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. One in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and this year 40,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed in the UK, making it increasingly important for businesses such as Unity to support causes like this.

Five members of male staff took part in the campaign, but all members of staff were able to contribute to the cause and celebrate with a slice of moustache cake, baked in honour of the event.
