Unity's Tenant Panel serve as judges for the Unity in Bloom gardening competition!

Unity’s Tenant Panel have been very busy lately, visiting each of the entrants in this year ‘Unity in Bloom’ gardening competition.

Each of Unity’s residents has been invited to enter their garden into the gardening competition which offers £300 vouchers in prizes. For the first time, there are two categories; meaning that those who grow their own fruit and vegetables could benefit from the rewards on offer.

The standard of the gardens, patios and driveways entered this year has been outstanding. Some of Unity’s tenants have gone to extraordinary lengths to improve the appearance of their homes and in turn bring up the appearance of their estates.

The Tenant Panel, now have a very hard task ahead of them in selecting the winners.

The Tenant Panel have already visited properties in Little London, Chapeltown, Harehills, and Gipton, but they still have to visit properties in Beeston, Crossgates, Armley and Meanwood.

Unity would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their involvement in the competition so far, congratulate them on what they have achieved and wish them the best of luck!
