Work begins on Unity’s next major development!

Unity Housing Association is pleased to announce that work has commenced on our latest development on Brown Lane East in Holbeck.

The project is a redevelopment of a Brownfield site, complementing the wider regeneration of Beeston and Holbeck and is due to be complete by November 2014. Construction of the scheme will provide a number of employment opportunities for local people.

All properties are to be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, making them significantly more energy efficient than typical properties of their type, which will help reduce fuel bills for the residents.

Once complete, the scheme will feature a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and flats available for affordable rent and shared ownership, providing opportunities for first-time buyers to take their first step on the property ladder.
