Unity achieves 'Compliance Plus' award for Customer Service Excellence

Unity is pleased to announced that we have achieved ‘Compliance Plus’ in the Customer Service Excellence Award

An independent assessor visited the premises and looked at each area of Customer Service, including engagement and consultation, staff professionalism and attitude and the quality and range of information provided.

He also took a keen interest in how Unity meets the diverse needs of a range of tenants, especially the work that is done to engage with and support disadvantaged and hard to reach customers, particularly through the Employment Services team.

As part of his investigation, the assessor also attended a Tenant Panel meeting, in order to talk to members about the opportunities they have had to influence service delivery.

The assessor noted that partners, contractors, customer groups and staff made very positive comments about the culture and ethos of the organisation and staff confirmed real ownership of customer service delivery with full involvement and consultation in decision making.
